RBT, based in Timelkam, Austria, specializes in fleet management and telematics, offering real-time tracking for vehicles and assets. Backed by Rosenberger, they deliver scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Overview
Leading the redesign of the telematics software, enhancing user experience and functionality. Additionally, improved multiple key customer touch points, including the company website, newsletter template design, print manuals, and app store presence. Successfully optimized three native apps for better performance and usability. Developed impactful poster designs for fairs and contributed to various marketing activities to elevate brand visibility and engagement.
Concept
Developed the main concept that focused on creating user experiences that are easy-going, lightweight, and magical. The design approach emphasized simplicity and fluidity, ensuring that interactions felt intuitive and effortless. By stripping away unnecessary complexity, the user interface became more accessible, leading to a smoother and more engaging experience.

Reduced visual distractions and received a lot of positive client feedback. Increased client orders and strengthened long-term partnerships, building trust and driving growth. Operational efficiency through a simplified, well-structured interface that improved overall efficiency and user experience. Bounce-off rate went down more than 30% for the company website after redesigning it as well.
Research
Besides data analysis i conducted user and stakeholder interviews additional to on-site observations and executed internal A/B testings with Maze to validate new designs with real users.
Visual Enhancements
Color Scheme − Introduced a fresh blue palette for visual guidance. Improved the iconography by adding a clear and consistent icon set for intuitive navigation. Enhanced contrast and increased font sizes for better readability and accessibility.
Structural Improvements
Dashboard reworked to function as the main hub. Moved elements to a side drawer, by doing so improving organization and accessibility. Increased white space to reduce clutter and enhance readability.
Scalability & Consistency
Established a scalable design system in Figma, ensuring uniformity across all Rosenberger Telematics products.
User Experience
Streamlined complex data displays and creating a cleaner and more intuitive experience by simplifying the interfaces.
